Join Podkin Press at Chef and the Farmer for a Holiday Cookie Decorating party! Author Brenda Hooks Harris will read from her new book, Poultry Snowed in at Lavender Cottage. Each child will receive a copy of the book and a lavender shortbread to take home. They will also receive a sugar cookie Christmas tree and a Gingerbread man to decorate. As a special treat, Poultry needs the trees around the cottage decorated! Each child will receive an ice cream cone to decorate, then we will put them all together around Lavender Cottage! Hot Cocoa with marshmallows will also finish off this special event. 

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Lenoir/Greene United Way.
